New Volunteer Recognition Program!
“Volunteers are not paid…
Not because they are worthless but because they are
PRICELESS!”

I am excited to share with you that we have recently decided to implement a new volunteer recognition program based on hours volunteered. Volunteer hours will be calculated based on hours logged into the volunteer sign in notebook at the shelter...therefore it will be imperative that you now sign in and out each and every time you volunteer if you would like a chance to berewarded for it! The program will work as follows:
Volunteer hours will be calculated at the end of each month and if 5-10 hours of service was performed the volunteer will be considered a Bronze Volunteer, 11-18 hours a Silver Volunteer, and if the volunteer performs 19 + service hours per month they will be a Gold Volunteer. Your name will be dropped into the "Gold", "Silver", or "Bronze" container based on the calculated hours and every two months a name will be drawn. The drawn name from the "Gold" container will receive a new Foothills Humane Society "Hoodie", the "Silver" winner will receive a new FHS T-shirt, and the "Bronze" winner will receive a new FHS decal. For example, say you worked 17 hours in January and 21 in February, your name would go into the Silver container once and in the Gold container once, so you have a chance of winning the hoodie or the t-shirt. If
you work 19+ hours both months, then you have a double chance in winning the hoodie.
Fabulous Fosters will be recognized separately… Details coming soon…
