Jericho – Our VERY Special Case 
Jericho is our VERY Special Case because his vision is impaired. He can see shadows and his eyes will follow you as you move around. Jericho is just 2 ½ years old and it is our veterinarian’s best guess that the cause of his compromised vision is human cruelty, perhaps poison.
Despite this, Jericho, is an adorable, loving, affectionate dog that loves to cuddle and be near his person. Found as a stray back in August, Jericho is seriously ready for his forever home. He has been at the shelter way too long and needs a home, even a foster home as soon as possible.
Jericho, did spend two weeks in a wonderful but temporary foster home and was amazing!! He was a snuggly, mellow guy that got along well with older children, cats and horses. He is housebroken and enjoyed being with a family.
His Fabulous Foster Mom wore a bell so he could easily follow her around their farm!
We think Jericho would do best as an only dog for now. In the future, as he regains his sense of security he may enjoy having another dog as a companion and “guide dog.
Right now, he tends to get possessive of his person and has not been getting along with other dogs. Hopefully that will change once he feels secure and loved in his own home.
