On most Wednesdays, working with staff and volunteers, Dr. Gloria Verrecchio, DVM, CERP, and Board member, makes the rounds of cats and dogs with her Multi Radiance Medical MR4 Activet Pro Veterinary Laser.

The manufacturer’s literature states that this cold Super Pulsed Laser light stimulates cell regeneration to accelerate pain relief and healing. In clinical studies, Super Pulsed Lasers outperformed Class IV Lasers in safety, controlling inflammation, mitigating pain, infection control, and wound care. Throughout the world, cold laser therapy is used to relieve acute/chronic pain, back pain, muscle strain, tendonitis, and other injuries in humans, and now is bridging the gap for veterinary care.
