About the event
Fosters are a vital part of what we do at Foothills Humane Society, and we’re always looking for more people to join our foster community. ❤️ Have you ever thought about fostering a dog, cat, puppy, or kitten but weren’t sure where to start? Join Foothills Humane Society for our monthly Foster Class and learn how you can provide animals of all ages with a safe, loving place to stay outside of the shelter.
Whether you’re interested in fostering tiny puppies and kittens, adult animals who need a break from the shelter, or anything in between, this class will help you feel prepared to get started.
During the class, we’ll cover:
• What fostering involves
• Basic care and feeding
• What supplies you’ll need (we supply everything!)
• How Foothills Humane Society supports our foster families
• What to expect when welcoming a foster animal into your home
No experience is necessary! We’ll provide the supplies, guidance, and support you need along the way.
